The Challenge
The core challenge of this project was balance.
Beauty products often suffer from visual overstatement. Liquids become overly stylized, movements feel artificial, and trust is lost. For Dermokil, this was not an option.
We needed to:
• Visualize the liquid in a way that feels natural, soft, and believable
• Integrate rice as a meaningful narrative element, not a decorative prop
• Maintain a clean, clinical aesthetic while preserving a sense of freshness and nature
The goal was realism with intention, not spectacle.
" Beauty products consistently require clean, smooth, and refreshing visuals. Additionally, our clients requested that we focus on nature and the role of rice in creating the new product lineup. So we got to work: showing the silky smooth formation of the liquid, combining it with bright and refreshing lights and colors, and showing how rice has the impact to achieve the new series of products.
Technically speaking, our biggest challenge was the formation of the liquid and visualizing it. After doing a lot of iterations, we finally settled on the ones that had the right movement and formation animation. "

Creative Direction
The creative direction was built around a simple but strong idea:
“Every glow tells a story. And this story begins with rice.”
This line was not treated as a slogan, but as a guiding principle.
Motion, lighting, pacing, and composition were all shaped to reflect this narrative.
Bright environments, soft light, and restrained color palettes were chosen to keep the focus on the product itself. Nothing entered the frame without a purpose.
Result
The final output is a refined 3D promotional video that:
• Visually narrates the story of the formula
• Presents the products with clarity and restraint
• Is optimized for use across websites, digital campaigns, and social platforms
This project demonstrates how 3D visualization, when aligned with brand strategy, becomes more than a visual asset. It becomes a storytelling tool.

Project Overview
Dermokil approached Red Flare DDA to introduce its new Rice Yeast product line through a high-quality 3D promotional video. The objective was clear: visually communicate purity, softness, and the connection between science and nature, without falling into exaggerated beauty clichés.
Our task was not simply to showcase the products, but to translate the essence of the formula into a cohesive visual narrative. From concept to final render, every element was designed to support this story.
