The Challenge
The tobacco category is visually saturated.
Most brands compete through excess: heavy graphics, repetitive layouts, aggressive color systems, and short-term visual trends.
ONA TOBACCO already had recognition in the market, but its identity lacked consistency and strategic clarity.
The brand needed to:
Refresh its visual identity without losing familiarity
Build a more premium and structured brand presence
Create a packaging system adaptable across multiple product lines
Increase perceived quality and shelf impact
Develop launch-ready visual content for digital communication
Establish a stronger online presence through a modern website experience
The challenge was not creating attention.
It was creating trust, distinction, and long-term visual authority.

We Needed To
Before beginning the redesign process, we aligned around several strategic objectives:
1- Refresh the identity while preserving brand recognition.
2- Build a packaging system that feels premium, scalable, and unmistakably ONA.
3- Create a stronger emotional connection through cinematic visual storytelling.
4- Develop a digital experience that reflects the maturity and ambition of the refreshed brand.
Every design decision had to support one central idea:
ONA TOBACCO should feel established, refined, and confidently modern.
“The challenge with ONA wasn’t reinvention. It was precision. We needed to preserve the brand equity that already existed while restructuring the entire visual language around clarity, confidence, and consistency. Every adjustment had to feel intentional — from the logo geometry to the packaging hierarchy.”

Creative Direction
The creative direction was built around the concept of:
Structured Refinement.
We developed a visual system rooted in:
• Refined typography with stronger visual balance
• Cleaner composition systems and improved hierarchy
• Premium material-inspired textures and finishes
• Controlled flavor differentiation across packaging
• Modernized logo geometry and brand proportions
• Cinematic visual storytelling for digital campaigns
The logo refresh focused on strengthening recognition while improving sophistication.
Rather than replacing the identity, we engineered a more balanced and scalable version of the brand mark — allowing it to work consistently across packaging, motion, print, and digital environments.
Packaging became a critical part of the transformation.
We redesigned the packaging system from the ground up: creating a cohesive visual architecture that could scale across multiple flavors and future product lines while maintaining a unified premium feel.
Beyond packaging, we extended the refreshed identity into motion and digital.
Through high-end visual production and brand-focused storytelling, we created launch assets, cinematic visuals, and branded content designed to transform the perception of the product.
At the same time, we designed and developed the ONA TOBACCO website to create a seamless digital extension of the brand experience.
The website was built not only as an informational platform, but as a controlled brand environment — designed to communicate quality, atmosphere, and strategic consistency across every interaction.
“A strong refresh should feel inevitable.
Not forced. The best outcome is when people feel the brand became more itself — more confident, more recognizable, more complete.”

ONA®
Project Overview
ONA TOBACCO was not treated as a cosmetic redesign.
It was approached as a strategic brand refresh for a company that already had market recognition — but needed a stronger visual language, sharper positioning, and a more premium, contemporary presence.
Red Flare DDA was commissioned to redefine the brand across every major customer touchpoint. From logo refinement and structural brand engineering to packaging systems, cinematic visual content, and digital experience design, we rebuilt the brand to feel more intentional, scalable, and emotionally resonant.
The goal was not simply to modernize. The goal was to elevate.
